Methadone

Methadone is a long acting full agonist opioid medication prescribed to treat opioid use disorder (OUD).  It is the gold standard of OUD treatment!  Methadone is typically taken just once daily to relieve opioid withdrawal symptoms.  Methadone is dispensed at each clinic.  Patients go to the clinic to receive the medication under the supervision of a trained nurse.   Methadone is available at all CAP locations.
