Admissions Information
Starting treatment doesn't have to be complicated. Before arriving at the clinic, we ask you to call and complete a brief phone screening with one of our counselors. This gives us an opportunity to learn a little about you and help you understand what to expect when you arrive.
Same day appointments available in Westbrook and as early as next day in Chicago and Downers Grove.
On day of intake, you will need to bring:

(this can include driver’s license, library card, or even a Costco membership!)

Intake Process
Your intake is comprehensive and includes assessments with a counselor, nurse, and doctor. You can expect the process to take approximately three hours. While that may seem like a long time, it gives us an opportunity to understand your needs and circumstances — and gives you a chance to get to know our team.
Your care plan will be developed based on your individual needs. At the end of the intake, your recovery journey can begin. You will receive medication the same day. CAP Quality Care provides medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD), including methadone at all of our locations and buprenorphine treatment at our Illinois clinics.
